Anybody here like Switchfoot? I know they're more of a crossover band than an evagelical band, but I do like their songs "Dare You to Move" and "Meant to Live."

They're a bit too hard for me. I see what you mean, though I kind of like a little more up-tempo stuff. If you don't like Switchfoot, though, then I wouldn't recommend listening to Kutless. They're a bit too loud for me, even though their one song, "Just Like Me," is pretty good. My family just got Switchfoot's album "The Beautiful Letdown." I haven't listened to the song 24 yet, steelsheen, but I will. I'd say that Meant to Live is my favorite song so far. Have you listened to any songs on their new album?

I love Kutless. I like Switchfoot as well. When I was in Denver for Fine Arts, we were watching some groups do human videos to I Dare You To Move. They were very powerful!

Oh, and Armany, I like a few of their songs, actually. "I dare you to move" is quite catchy, especially.

Yay, my organ is coming today. Today is a good day. I get an organ lesson on the biggest organ in Oklahoma, then I come home and get a good organ for my house ;D. Good times.
Creepy how good things actually happen to me isn't it?

You're getting your own organ, Heartofgold? Aren't they too huge for a single house? Then again, Gandhi incarnate probably has a mansion fully equipped with an organ room, so... j/k Congrats on the 500 posts, Choco!

I play the organ a little, since its much like piano, except I don't do the pedals. So I guess that's not really playing it well.

Its the response you give when someone says, "That's not fair!" which I tend to hear a lot.

They're a bit too hard for me. For me Switchfoot is too soft I like the harder stuff. I like groups like Demon Hunter, Skillet, Still Remains, Staple, and others. I also like rap, but I am starting to liek hard rock more. The rappers I like are Grits, T-Bone, LA Symphony, and KJ-52. I don't really like country or instrumental.

Anybody that comes after the Beatles is no good.
I officially win on the hardest instrument debate when I said organ. Have you ever tried to play piano with you feet? That's what I get to do. Of course that's not really, really hard until you throw in the fact that you still have to play piano with your hands. But oh well. I'm sorda figuring it out.

there are pedals on the piano, though. And the organ music does not move around like piano music does.
But my choice for hardest instrument was the harp or bagpipes, I believe, so I digress.

There are three pedals. One of them doesn't do anything. The other makes it soft, so you just have to hold it down, not that hard. The other one is the sustaining pedal. I played piano for five years. Believe me, its a lot harder to play a full keyboard than two pedals.
You ever heard a Bach fugue? Trust me, it moves. First you move on the first manual (keyboard). Than on the second one at the same time. Then on the pedals at the same time really really fast. It moves.
The harp looks like a big bass to me, but than I don't know too much about it. There's only been one song written for the bagpipes. You have to agree with me there. I have never heard a bagpipes song that sounded different from the other one. I think the bagpipes just take a lot of air and strength, but once you've got those, its pretty easy.

I've heard a little bit of Christian rock (like the groups you mention, Aslan) and I found them too hard for my tastes. For me, Switchfoot's just about right on the loudness scale. ;D
