Former members of DC Talk have turned into the band TobyMac. It's more like a rock/rap band but it is quite...fun to listen to.

TobyMac is by himself. I think someone named Tait went into rock.

The way I see it, there were originally three "bandmates" in dc Talk. All three split up and went on to pursue solo careers. Tobymac is the only one of notoriety. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

I don't know much about DC Talk. I never listened to them. I do listen to tobyMac and he is doing good and is good. I thought I heard that Tait was from DC Talk. I know he has his own CDs. He was also in Hero The Rock Opera. That is a good CD about Jesus being born in this times period in Bethlehem Pennsylvania (spelled it wrong). There is also "a" book about it. I read it and there was supposed to be a trilogy, but the author stoped writing it or something. I was very ticked off. I even emailed the Publishing company. The book was supurb, but it just stops waiting for the other books and leaves you hanging forever. The book is called City of Dreams. Read it if you dare, if you want to be left hangin'...forever lol.

And we all know what kind of connections you have Mr. Nixon.
Yea, actually that was it. I have connections. Someone wanted to dump a 50 year old organ at our house, and we said "sure!" Thats about it.

Oh, by the way, have you heard of Broken Arrow? It's a little city next to Tulsa.

Well, actually its a methodist chuch.
No. Been in Tulsa nearly 14 years and never heard of Broken Arrow. What a failure I am.
Yea, I used to go to chuch out there. I live in a little town on the other side of Tulsa (Sand Springs). Why have you heard of Broken Arrow?

Well, actually its a methodist chuch. You're persuading me to become a Methodist...J/K I'm ashamed of you, heartofgold. You should also be ashamed of yourself. Not memorizing every tiny city's name in the huge district you live in! Tut tut tut... Well, it's just that my youth pastor has been called to serve over there, and I was wondering if you knew of the place. There can't be that many churches over there... As it is, my question was pointless ;D

I was joking. Tulsa isn't a huge city, and doesn't have many suburbs. You'd better know them all.

I heard about that, Aslan. BTW, a good Christian music site can be found here, while we're on the topic: www.jesusfreakhideout.com It's got tons of album reviews, song lyrics, and pretty much everything Christian music. HoG and Falklands: Can either of you explain to me where the Nixon/Ghandi thing came from? I've never gotten that. ;D

I've heard their song "We Live" and I liked it a lot. Never heard any of their other music, though, but judging by the sound of "We Live," they would seem to be pretty good.
