THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band would be my favorite album. And they don't really have a genre, although I think they're technically rock.

I just love Electronic Dance music (House, techno, trance etc. ) The latest CD's I bought were: - "Around the world in 80 days" by Mark Norman and Cor Fijneman
- "In search of sunrise four: South america" by DJ Tiësto
- "The Politics of Dancing" by Paul van Dyk
- "A state of trance 2005" By Armin van Buuren
oh yeah and I like hiphop and R&B, too. Recently I bought Alicia Keys's "Unplugged" CD and a great CD called Holy 'Hiphop' And tomorow I'm going to buy Tiësto's latest album, In search Sunrise 5 BTW Don't you people in the US listen to dancemusic? It's all rock and guitars here!

Never heard of any of 'em, either. I'm not too fond, nor familiar, with techno music and dance music. It's just not that big around here.
Hip-hop, however, is wildly popular in the US, and is probably the most popular genre in America. Just take a look at Billboard.com's Hot 100! I, personally, don't like it, though.
Is this dance music that you listen to American in origin, or is it more Euro?
