Why is everyone so averse to a dynasty forming in the NFL? I think that what the Pats did was good for the NFL. They patented a way to build a championship caliber squad from the ground up, and I am sad to see them falling like they are now.
KC has a tough, tough schedule coming up. I originally thought that they were bound for the playoffs, but now that I've heard that their worst opponent in the next five games has a 7-4 record, I have my doubts.

I don't hate the Pats unless they're playing the Chiefs.
Oh ye of little faith...

KC pulled out a tough one against Denver 31-27! That means we are one game behind Denver in the AFC West! We play @ Dallas next week.

That was a good game. Well, actually it wasn't 'cause ORU smoked them so bad, that made it kinda boring.
Oh yay. I don't like Dallas, so that should be a good game.
Oh, almost forgot.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, Denver lost.

I care about the Super Bowl even though my team never makes it.
I'm liking Seattle in this game. I wouldn't be mad if Pittsburgh won, but Seattle is my choice. I'll take Seattle over Pittsburgh in a tight one, 24-21.

GO STEELERS!!! Pittsburgh'll win it....I mean, come on, they weren't supposed to beat the Colts either so 'ol Rothlesburger (sp?) aka the Superman QB will come away with it.

Well armany I know how you feel about the team never making it. What were the Bills thinking, hiring thingy Jaraun? (can't even spell his name right LOL)
NEways, yeah I like Rothlesburger too, he's a Christian. and I like Bettis and hope all his hard work in the NFL pays off.

I'd like to point out that KU (my second fav. college team behind Mizzou) beat OU! Somehow OU gave 16 straight points to KU, in KU's comeback win. Well, well, well.... I guess I'm right when I say Missouri and Kansas have the best teams. Don't associte me with Kansas in anything other than sports however, everybody knows Kansans are crazy. Missourians know it most of all, we are stuck with them. lol

Well, just came from watching the Super Bowl (yea I did watch it). Not a bad game. Seattle should have won. A lot of calls didn't go there way. But with there time management, they earned the right to lose the old fashioned way. That was absolutely no doubt about it the worst time management I've ever seen.

Yeah, for real, I was like *drops mouth open*......that was sooo stupid of their coach. Made me plenty happy, though. Oh, and by the way, that diving TD (touchdown, lol) by Rothlisburger (sp?....I think i'll just call him Big Ben) in the first half did NOT cross the line... Quite a weird and interesting game, but I'm glad 'ol Big Ben's Steelers won it.

I didn't want them to win because they beat the Broncos. Oh well.
They had some good commercials. I was kind of disappointed with the commercials though, they didn't have very many funny ones.

Yea it did. All he had to do was get part of the ball, any part, across the white line. He did that. But it really wouldn't have mattered. I think they might have gone for it anyway if he hadn't made it. And they would have made it. Its not that hard to move a football two inches.

The Super Bowl was officiated horribly. Even the guys on ABC and ESPN were incredulous after some of those calls. The "pass interference" on Darrell Jackson was kind of a ticky-tacky call. Receivers use their arms to push off slightly all the time, and that's exactly what Jackson was doing. The Pittsburgh defender had to cry to the ref to get the penalty, too. But I digress...
The holding call in the fourth quarter was absolutely ridiculous. Again, that's something that goes on all the time, to the point that it's a clean block nowadays. John Madden said it wasn't a hold. The ESPN NFL Live crew said it wasn't a hold. I think the only people in the world that thought that it was a hold were a.) the referee; and b.) the biased Steeler fans in the crowd. Even my friend, a Steelers fan, said that that was not a hold!
The Roethlisberger play was excusable. It was really too close to call; I couldn't tell if the ball went over or not, but since the original call was a TD, there had to be conclusive evidence that the ball didn't cross the plane. There wasn't really any conclusive evidence about its spot to start with, so you have to go with the original call there.
Then, to top it all off, Hasselbeck gets called for a "block below the waist" whenever he's trying to make a tackle! That's a dumb call right there.
The 'Hawks did execute very poorly at the end of the halves. However, you'd hope that in the Super Bowl, the Game of all Games, the officials would prove to be more competent and fair than they were in Sunday's game.
The Steelers played good enough to win, and their playoff run was amazing, but I'd like to see a game where Seattle has to play the Steelers without having to play against the referees at the same time.
