MLB: Cleveland Indians NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers NFL: Cleveland Browns (notice a trend?) NCAA Football: Ohio State University
Favorite Indians Player: Grady Sizemore Fav. Browns Player: Charlie Frye Fav. Cavs Player: Anderson Varejao I don't have a fav. OSU player, as I'm not a die-hard college fan.
-Armany, whose absolute favorite topic to talk about is sports.

Oh, yes, that was you, Siko. I guess I've been getting so used to GDL starting any and all new topics that I just didn't pay attention. Yes, the Steelers were 15-1, but it sure is a shame that they got humbled by the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, ain't it? ;DNOT!!!!!! I assume you in turn hate the Browns, so this could be a nice MB rivalry developing here. Browns in . . . well, 2006, since Winslow is down for this season!

Yeah, the Saints don't seem to really be trying to rebuild- unlike my Browns (I must brag ;D). We've gotten a new GM, Phil Savage, who has a track record of making things happen in the draft (BTW, he came from the Ravens, Maats); a new Coach, in former NE Patriots Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel; and a legitimate young star in our first round draft pick from the recent draft, Wide Receiver Braylon Edwards. The past may have been depressing, but I believe that the Cleveland Browns are on the verge of getting better. Oh, and Siko, I share your hate- er, strong dislike- of the Ravens. It was that stinking franchise that was the former Browns, before our owner at the time, Art Modell, decided to betray the state of Ohio and move to Baltimore, MD. So, both Browns and Steelers fans can find a common ground in hating the Ravens. And as to you not taking part in the legendary Browns-Steelers rivalry, I'm really shocked. I thought that all of you Pittsburgh scum- I mean fans- hated the Browns! j/k (I think that means just kidding . . . but I'm not sure . . . but now that I've said what I meant you kind of know what I was going to say . . . which probably leads you to think "why in the world did he use an abbreviation that he didn't know when he could have just wrote it out . . . but yeah, you get what I mean . . . so now I'll shut up and stop rambling on and on and on . . . ) ;DLOL

Ok...umm...I know this sounds really stupid, but I don't know much about sports. What does MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA and all that stuff stand for? I know it has something to do w/ like football or something, but I've never known what each one meant. I had to do a sports debate and I had like no clue on what they were all talking about so I probably should get to know info about sports. So maybe if I watch you all talk about sports and if I ask Q's then I'll understand it all better.

I'm pretty committed to all of my Cleveland teams in the NFL, NBA, and MLB, but I don't really follow Ohio State in the NCAA that much. With them, I usually just watch the OSU/Michigan game, a big rivalry around here. Oh, and since you're such a fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, TD, you'll be happy to know that the Browns drafted a couple Oklahoma DB's (defensive backs, Cateopia ;D) in Brodney Pool and Antonio Perkins. Us Brownies have high hopes for them, so here's to Oklahoma for this one... BTW, have any of you Oklahoma fans heard that your former Heisman Trophy-winning QB Jason White wasn't even drafted by an NFL team?! I'm not poking fun here, but it seems to me that a guy that wins the NCAA's most prestigious award should be considered in the NFL Draft. I think that he was picked up by KC briefly as an undrafted free agent before he went to the Titans, but I'm not quite positive. And, on one last note, does Oral Roberts U. even have sports teams? I had never really heard of the college before you guys mentioned it on some other threads here, so it was my impression that it was just a theological school.

Umm, Armany, why would we mention it here if it didn't have sports teams? OF COURSE IT DOES!!! One of the best NCAA DI (the highest divison) baseball teams and a mediocre NCAA DI basketball team. SO THERE! ORU GOLDEN EAGLES! (http://www.orugoldeneagles.com) Jason White can't have a career in the NFL becuase he practically MURDERED his knee in his NCAA carrer. OU! OU! OU!

I would like to also mention that i hate the yanks with a passion just like TD!!! And Jason White tried out with the Chiefs but they never got around to signing him. The Titans were then able to sign him.... Also note that Matt Leinart(sp?) of USC is a better QB than White (but not better than Roeslithberger ;D) GO STEELERS! Also what does everyone think of the 49ers picking Alex Smith as the first OVERALL pick in the NFL draft? And also who is your pick For the World Series matchup this year in Baseball? (lets be realistic ;D)

Well, this is a topic that's going to make us all enemies! How can you say you hate the Yankees? Am I the only one out there who likes them? Yeah, armany, it's time for your Browns to do something. My Bills creamed 'em last year. I hate the Patriots. Even more than the Red sox. But by far the worst NFL team is the Ravens. I don't like the raiders either. I love the NCAA and my fav. team is Syracuse Orangmen. I don't really pay attention to NBA or NHL (well obvoiusly since they have that lockout. Isn't that situation so stupid?)
