Yeah, I haven't seen the two main people we disagree with (maatshalz and siko michael ;D) around lately... Come back so we can actually put some passion into our debates! Believe it or not...those two clowns are my cousins! I've tried to get 'em both back on here....but they really don't like CT anymore. HOWEVER, I'm a great devil's advocate if we ever need one!

Right you called for a non comformist and she has arrived. For the um... one other person that knows me on here i argue cause i cant help myself So for the sake of argument...... Its thier life leave them to it. Sure its a sin. Pray for thier redemtion but dont out law something that is non of your buisness. p.s. I really am rather undecided on the matter i dont think it is natural or right but i dont like it when other people pry into peoples lives. In my oppinion if i had a sin i had commited i would not care what people thought down here only my God can judge me.

But then we get into the situation where we have to say that nothing can be banned. If we always make the statement that "you can't tell me what to do with my own body", then what do we get? A degenerative society who has no morals and where debauchery reigns. God said it was an "abomination", and outlawed it. We should follow his example.

True, Falklands. However, sin IS between you and God, not me and you. As a man once said
"It's up to God to forgive them- we just arrange the meeting!"
Please, no one take that statement the wrong way- I am not for killing Homosexual people. I am for converting them- as a normal sinner, not 'Stop being a homo, then get saved'
Jesus loves you as you are- but he doesn't want you to stay that way. 'go forth and sin no more' he said, and that should be our take on all sinners, I believe.

Umm, please refrain from using that kind of language.
We are condoning Homosexuality because it is a sin. God's word says so. We are to hate the things God hates, and God hates homosexuality. Period.

Wait. It isn't a sick sin? I always thought that "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22) was pretty clear.
But while we're at it, I will point one thing out. There are people who are attracted to other people of the same sex. Thats pretty much a fact, and I don't think thats the sin. I don't think God makes gay people then tells them not to be gay. What is a sin (as pointed out by this verse), would be, well, yea, that.
My two dollars (inflation. Ha ha corny joke).

well said....were homos are, there is likely more sin than any of us could bare, as for genetic queerness.....impossible.....
lets remember that looking at a person the wrong way(lust) is the same as actually performing the action with that person(aka eye lust) remember its better to pluck your eyes out and go to heaven then have them and go to hell.....

Well, that's true. But, quite frankly, we all look at people the wrong way. That's one of the prices we pay for sin entering the world. What I'm saying is I don't think a homosexual looking at another man wrong is any worse than someone looking at another woman wrong.
What I'm really really saying is, its not a case of, "don't be attracted to men," because sometimes that really is who you are. That comes out to the same thing as, "don't be attracted to anyone." Well, sorry, but unless your a monk, your going to be attracted to someone.

Yes, but it is not normal or morally right or humanly right to be attracted to someone of the same sex. In the Bible God killed tons and tons of those type of people. Like in Sodom and Gomarah. I know this is a normal saying, but "It was Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve."
Also about that new movie Brokeback Mountain, that is just sick and wrong!!! It even won an award. Talk about our society going down the drain. That movie should not even be played. Who in their right mind would want to be in a movie or make a movie about that?!

What I'm saying is, yes, for some people it is natural. There are some people who are gay, and that, in and of itself, is not a sin. Its the looking at another man wrong, or getting married to another man that is the sin.
What I'm saying is, I don't think its any worse to naturally look at another man wrong then to look at another woman wrong. The difference is, if you marry the woman, you can look at her wrong all you want. If you marry the guy, you've just committed a sin.

techniqually this is incorrect the marriage is only for reproduction/children not to "look" at her at any time you want, although i may end up stabbing myself in the back with this comment since im getting into birth-control issues. lol

Its the looking at another man wrong, or getting married to another man that is the sin. I believe that being gay is a sin. I don't believe that you are 'born' that way, I think the devil puts it into your heart. He made one man, one woman, and intended for them to be together. From the beginning, Adam didn't want another man like himself...he wanted someone like Eve.

Well, sorry, but I have science to back me up. There are gay people, I happen to know one. There are people who are attracted to other men. And its not really their fault. It probably is something the devil sticks in there, just like some people have the urge to kill someone, or some people have the urge to steal something. But so long as you don't steal anything, or kill anyone, your good (or at least, you haven't committed a grievous sin, but I suspect having the urge is a sin in and of itself).

All those carnal sins, including homsexuality, lust, and anything impure, came as a result of the Fall. It is NOT natural in our bodies designed by God. It is the result of Sin.
*ahem* You shouldn't LUST after anyone, even your wife/husband. Satan can deceive you into putting too much focus on the pleasure instead of your love for God which stimulates a love for your spouse.

True (original sin is what Catholics call it).
Exactly. What I'm saying is I don't think lusting after a man is any worse that lusting after a woman. They're both sins, but I don't think any one is worse than the other.
