I think it is HORRIBLE! I hate it when people say they are gay. It is a horrible sin, it should be outlawed and illegal.

I also hate homosexuality- but I try to be careful about hating the sin, because it's easy to fall into hating the sinner. As Christians, we should show nothing but love to homosexuals in the hope that they may be saved.
As far as homosexuality goes, though, I detest the practice.

What do you think of the argument that some people make: that "homosexuality" is not a crime, even though practicing it is. They say that some people are "genetically" homosexual.

And New Orleans *cough cough*...sorry, gdl.
Gayness is awful, and people are NOT naturally gay! I mean, come on, it was Adam and EVE not Adam and STEVE!!! Gay Marriage should be outlawed for GOOD and it's a pity that it's even still an issue. Seriously....the Romans had lots of gays, but they also fed people to lions for show and tell time....no nation (civilized, that is) still sends people to the lions, but, by golly, we've still got the gays.

Once again, let us pray for them and show love and compassion for them, not hate. No matter how bad their sin is, they are still loved by God. Ask yourself, "what would Jesus do?"

The Bible very definitely says to love a person of the opposite sex, and being gay is not obeying that. Everything God set up including sex (yes the s word) God made for a husband and wife. Not for a wife and wife or husband and husband. Although i very much agree with Armany that as Christians instead of hating them as sinners, we need to remember we are as great as sinners as they are and continually need to pray for them that they will come to know Christ, and his plan for their life.

yes, we sin. even though it might not be as obvious as homosexuality, our small sin is just as much sin as theirs. we need to show love though and pray for them.

You are all right. God's grace and mercy encompasses all sins, even ones that seem far too bad. Paul talked about showing love, yes, but when it was between men he said brotherly love. There is a great distinction between love and lust. Period. I don't really think we have much to debate on this do we, 'cause we all think the same way ;D

And you wonder why. Well, we all believe in the same God, believe in the truth of the same book, etc...

I don't no i agree i don't like the thought of homosexuality but as mentioned we sin daily too its just our sins r different- i think it is wrong of us to judge homosexuals because that is gods job and i also think we shouldn't ridicule them - tho sumtimes it seems hard to do these things. I saw the movie saved and it made really interestin points about these sort of issues- homosexuality teenage pregnancy......-GOd still loves us and can forgive us our sins thats what makes him so awesome!

My take on this is, yes, it is bad, yes, it is an abomination, yes, it should be against the law, it is a sin- just like killing and stealing. But most sins were banned by God for a reason. In this case, because they get very, very sick, and can have no children.
The hard thing is to love the sinner, hate the sin. Think about it- you have a sin in your life- I know I do- Guess what? God hates that sin just as much as he hates homosexuality, and he loves them just as much as he loves you.
There is no degrees of sin. There is one unforgivable sin, and we are warned not to mess with children, (HEAR THAT MICHAEL?) and so on. But my personal besetting sin, in the eyes of the world, might not be so bad, but to God, (who's the one who REALLY matters) it's still a sin, and just as evil.
Did I make that understandable?
