At least they're non-violent - and that's what we're trying to find - Halloween costumes that aren't evil - wait...they ARE evil anyway... ;D

I usually dress up as a geek.
People glare at me when I say that, but it's true! I mean, black skirt, dress shirt, glasses, book....

Sorry I'm late in this debate. I haven't been able to get on the computer for the past couple days.
Halloween is, in itself, a holiday that promotes witchcraft and satanism. When next October comes along, you know you're going to be seeing haunted houses and witches and goblins and all sorts of unsavory things. Fact of the matter is, that's what Halloween is about. It's about getting scared and glorifying entities that are usually the essence of horror movies.
Many of the traditions that occur around Halloween are, I suspect, derived from pagan sources.
Now, let everyone scoff at me and my "conspiracy theory" ideas.

Yeah, and I just don't like it because the Wicca gets attention every time every year.

Well, technically, it came from the tradition that the Saints all walked the earth again on Hollowed Eve or something like that (meaning I don't have all the facts right in front of me, failure that I am). Of course you might be right in the end, 'cause I think it was a pagan Holiday to begin with before it got religousisized (ha! new word). But then again just about all Christian holidays were like that.

All hallows eve, all saints day- early english catholic holidays, involving strange foods. Eventually it became the day when 'hallows' the dead, walked the earth.
I have a question for everyone- one that you may find strange.
If you had your choice between walking into a totally empty church or a house at midnight, which would you choose?

Well, I'd say it would depend on the house. I've walked into empty churches lots of times, and also walked into my own house at midnight. But I do think that walking into a totally empty church always feels....idk, weird.

hey! thats a good story idea falklands! .....you're alone in this deserted church at midnight, and you hear a pipe organ playing softly, even though the church is totally empty. The eerie sound echos.......

...The normally padlocked door slams, and you hear evil laughter ringing through the hall...
(Don't get me wrong, this is all some mastermind playing on someone's senses to further his evil plan to...)
