So I was just wondering what all u guys especially like in the Bible?  My fave verses are the 1 that appears to the side u no God is love.... (1john 4:16) jus cos it shows the most amazing emotion of love in its full glory! I mean it's the coolest! and I also luv revelations cos there are so many answers and ideas and things to learn from it!  What about everyone else? B |

I personally luv Phillipians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthons me." As a gymnast I'm continually throwing myself upside down and believe me I pray A LOT about landing safely. One year at competition i saw a guy tumbling and landed on his neck, and it scared all of us, so we sat down and just read this scripture over and over again before we competed.

Hebrews 3:15," Let your conversation be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have, for he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." That is SUCH and awesome promise! I quote it to myself alot, as well as Phillipians 4:13 too:-) But 1 John 4:16 is awesome too! There's tons of good verses out there!

Isn't it ccool how when u feel really lonely or low all of sudden sometimes u think about God and it makes u smile?

I love John 16:33b, "In this world you will face much tribulation; but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world!" LOVE that one!
Also, Matthew 28:20 (the great commission): "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded. Lo, I am with you always even till the end of the age."
He's with us ALWAYS! ;D

I have the cutest little book called "Txt messages frm God" and last nite i was reading it and found a really kl verse for us to follow- James 5:13 When ur in trouble PRAY! When ur happy PRAISE God! |

lol , it is, most scripture is awesome tho sumtimes i dont seem to get as much out of it as other times- like jus now im reading joshua and im confused cos of all the violence- anyhow!!! B |

My life verse and favorite verse is
Greater love have no man than this that he lay down his life for his friend. John 15:13
my favorite book/slash story in the Bible is the book and story of Job. He gets hard times but even then God sees him through. I also like how God chews him out at the end. Shows that us people aren't as wise as we think we are God always knows better.

yes. its really amazing how through all the bad/hard times Job had to go through God was w/ him all the time.its a good book.
right now i'm in Matthew, in fact today i just finished it up.today i read about the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Yeh I'm reading Joshua at the moment but I'm finding it really confusing! I don't know- it's just violence seems to be portrayed as a positive trait in that back- if anyone can help me understand it better I'd be grateful B |
