Has anyone read any Sarah Dessen books? I recently discovered her... her style is brilliant.
The only problem I have with her books is that some of the characters do some questionable stuff - i.e. drink, drugs, sleeping around. 99% of the time, it's shown in a negative light, and the character, of their firends, are fighting against it, trying to stop it. However, the drinking is let slide, which I definately don't agree with.
Still, she deals with really tough emotional issues (that cause most of the negative behavior), and you can learn some valuable lessons in her books.
My top favorite is "The Truth About Forever".
