Does anyone here like Redwall books? I think they're entertaining. The story plot can get old often, but still I like it!

Brian Jacques is a good writer and characterisations of the animals well, but I like other, more meaningful material.

Those were pretty good books. The problem with me is, I'd read them, get half way though and think it was a great book, then think, "wait. These are mice! I'm talking to mice!" Stuart Little was good. But he didn't kill weasels.
They would have been better if they had had people.

THe plot repetition is exhausting. However, I enjoyed these a great deal when I was younger, and reread them for nostalgic and analgesic purposes.

Gyn refuses to read them, as they are too long for her tastes I agree with heartofgold here, it would be better if they were people. Have you ever read Castaways of the Flying Dutchmen, angels command, etc...?

umm, i don't particularly like reading 300 page books about .... mice. I just don't find mice that interesting *gasps from the crowd* i know, i'm soo weird, not enjoying books about rodents. lol ---but, i do read Narnia, and that of course has one of the greatest mice of all time in it

I thought the Redwall books were awesome!!!! I read all of them! One of the things I liked the most wuz the accents. Each animal had a differnt kind of accent.
I liked the narnian mouse too.Ecspecialy the way he dies, or leaves, or whatever you want to call it.
