According to the opinion of many critics Brave New World, Fahreneheit 451 and the two George Orwells were the 'Best' sci-fis ever.
Personally, New World was MUCH too promiscuous, and 451 was just STRANGE, and George Orwell was plain boring and a little too... scary is not the right word, but it also is...
Oh, just give me my lord of the rings and C.S. Lewis and Star Trek and Star Wars ANY day over that type of book! If I wanted to read politics in fiction I would go chew on Vanity Fair...

If I wanted to read politics in fiction I would go chew on Vanity Fair... If you wanted to read politics in non-fiction go read Plato's Republic - although that isn't just about politics ;D

Believe me, the book has as lot of stuff besides politics (like a plot),
400 Meter long Sand worms aren't politics.

Scary things, plots!!! Lol, Sand worms- worms in general are not generally a Must Read for me....
Plato's republic... hmmm- I doubt my library, which is the size of a large closet, has that one... it doesn't even have Dantes 'Inferno' which I TOTALLY want to read.... Also, I just don't like Plato, thanks to Bob Jones history!

Believe me, the book has as lot of stuff besides politics (like a plot), 400 Meter long Sand worms aren't politics. You seem enamoured with Sand Worms...how are big, ugly, cinnamon-breath, mindless animals nice? I have to admit they are quite cool, though. ;D What do you mean by Bob Jones history? Plato is really an excellent philosopher, even though he did not quite grasp the whole truth. I like his style of writing. As St. Augustine says, his way of writing is "graceful and elegant." I'm set on reading Dante's Inferno, as well; I'm looking forward to it. Waitttttt... how did a discussion on whether Star Wars or Star Trek was better turn into a discussion on philisophical literature? ;D ;D ;D

I no know! Bob Jones' history- I am homeschooled, and I had the course of History from them, and ancient Greece had some stuff with him, and I hated it!!! I did War of the Worlds Audio tape- the orginal radio broadcast (dramatization) frightened people who thought it was a true happening, so people began readying for a fight! I don't understand the preoccupation with large worms either... Dantes Inferno- Abandon all hope, ye who enter here... SWEET!

Large Worms are going to take over the world some day. You'd better be preoccupied with them... No, acutally I just thought they were really, really, cool

Bob Jones' history- I am homeschooled, and I had the course of History from them, and ancient Greece had some stuff with him, and I hated it!!! Was it because of his viewpoint or because of his presentation? I am also homeschooled, by the way
