The Disciples of Next Gen Christians(now a member of CT ;D) would like proposed the following amendment due to the recent need to change the election format of the CoL and President/Vice President.
Section 1: The Following will be struck null and void.
Constitution. Article I, Section 4:
Section 2: The Following:
Constitution. Amendment #1. Section 1:
will be replaced with :
"The Council of Law shall be elected by majority vote every four months, at a time chosen by the CT nations."

That's cool. I see what you're getting at with this.
I was kind of worried that we'd have a big stink over the different election times. ;D This will take care of any complications, though.

So lets see if I have this straight - we would still have to have the elections every four months, just not at the same time as the presidential election?

If it's of a time of everyone's choosing like you said, then the CoL could technically filibuster the proccess until they've served one or two months longer than they were supposed to.

That's a possibility. Any ideas on putting in a "firewall" against this?

Fine with me, although I still think it would be easier to have the elections every 6 months....

No, GEb, we are too inactive as it is. We need elections. Thrice a year is not too much to ask.
You need nto talk about filibustering of you say simply that...
"The council of Law shall be voted upon as close to every four months as possible, at a time where the majority of voting nations can agree, but no mroe than 40 days late." Have a maximum window.
