Well, I'm surrounded by Patriots fans, so I kinda support them... but given I really don't care about football, sometimes i tell people I'm a Steelers fan, just cause it gets them mad....  lol |

Haha-- you won't get anyone at my church mad if you tell them you are a steeler's fan... 'cept Mr. K., but he's the only one I can think of. He's a brown's fan.

Lol, but the Steelers broke the Patriots' win streak a few years ago - they'd gone undefeated all year. Some people still ahven't gotten over that. On a more negative note, I'm soooo bummed about the Red Sox right now. We need our good hitters back! When you depend ont he likes of Javy Lopez and Alex Cora to drive in your runs for you, it's jsut sad! I mean, we've got Ortiz and Manny (besides when he has hamstring cramps...), and Loretta's decent, but other than that, all our hitters are out! I say we need Nixon and Varitek back, and NOW, or we won't make it out of a 5 1/2 game deficit. (Sorry, that's a major rant I needed to get outta my system!) |

Ah, I understand..... I mean it was bad when the Yanks had Matsui and Sheffield out. They've been able to do decent against them. I ALMOST wish Boston would come back a little, just to make the race for the division close  |

Yah well you guys weren't doing so hot w/o Matsushi... I mean Matsui, Sheffield, etc., either. We've currently got about 3 of our regular starters playing. BUT... VARITEK'S COMING BACK SOON!!!!! You Yankees fans are all the same... all about money and winning and attitude. lol BUT, if that's the way it's gonna be, then... well, I'd rather be swept than to be three games ahead and then lose.  In fact, I'm happier abotu the fact that even with so many players out, we're still in second place. (Angels are KILLING the Yankees as the moment, btw.) |

Hey, I tried my hardest to be nice and sympathetic in MY post  I would think the biggest problem for the Sox is their pitching Lol, true - thanks. I think the BIGGEST problem is that we have no hitters right now. Ortiz has to do all the work. Pitching isn't so hot either, but it's still better than the batting order. *feels depressed that she's discussing the Sox current slump - objectively - with a Yankees fan * |

me, i like football or more known in america as soccer, of course the simple the fact hat i write soccer is a bit odd to me as in wales its called football but never mind, and then i support liverpool, but except for that i like a bit of rugby especially when supporting wales, but more importantly for a while ive started going hiking, anyone else here go hiking?
