I just thought it would be cool for ppl to post what made them smile when they thought about God. I quite often find when I'm sad or low I'll suddenly think of a song lyric or a bible verse or a sermon and it will just fill me with happiness! Probably the most often i experience that one is when i'm lonely and i realise God is always always with u!!!!!! HOw cool is that?
So tel me what u think!!!

I smile when I think of where God has brought me in my Christian walk. I used to not read my Bible at all, and now I read it every day if I can. (not bragging or nEthing!) He really knows whats best. I smile when I think about how my future is in his hands!

I smile when I look at the awesome creation God has created, and imagine how infinitely better it will be when he creates a new heaven and a new earth.

i smile when i see the natural wonders we have in our landscape, and realise that someone powerful enough to do that is very powerful indeed
also, sometimes im randomly walking and i realise how GINOURMOUSLY HUGE God's love really IS for everybody, and how massive his grace is

I smile when i realise that all of the horribly fake and shallow people in the world that annoy me cannot hide thier true sould from god. I used to know a girl who said she was catholic to get attention.... you have no idea how angry it made me. But then i realised that god knows that she does not believe in him, and although i pray for her to realise what she is doing is wrong i still feel great that you cannot cheat god

I smile when I think of how much God has already done for us. He sent his Son to die for our sins, but hasn't stopped there.

I smile when I read these verses, " For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have compassion on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer." Isaiah 54:7-8. Now if that dosn't make you smile I don't know what will!

I smile because TODAY IS OPENING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huzza! Huzza! (Insert medieval theme here along with a couple of very colorful people dancing on the table).

Yup, already mad at my computer for not letting me listen to the games, already mad at the Royals for losing yet again, and happy that the Rockies won in extra innings. Oh, and mad that I wasn't home for most of the game. Great time of year.

OK, I'm done now. You can go back to your sentimental stuff .

My favorite Christian cartoonist is Dan Lietha! I have a whole book on creation cartoons by him, and this March we went to see the new Creation Museum AiG is buliding in Kentucky. Those are really great! ;D
