My favorite scripture is Phil. 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
I am a gymnast and we have a big banner with this on it in our gym. What is yours Misty?

Mine is Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in Him, and he will give you the desires of your heart." I have several more but it would take a long time to find them all.

I Samuel 16:7
"But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things a man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.'"
Such a brilliant display of the Lord's justness in the Old Testiment, wisdom explained among so much that we have to figure out on our own. So great.

My favorite Scripture is Psalm 23. I love how it shows that God takes care for us and will be with us through everything. I've had some tough times this past year, so I kind of need His han on my shoulder, you know.
P.S. Blessed New Year!!! ;D

My favorite scripture is also Phil 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" This verse has encouraged me beyond words to do my best and not be afraid. Especially in gymnastics.

Actually, that's in the Gospel of John. Gen 1:1 reads, "In the beginning, god created . . .," while yours is in John, first chapter. ;D

That's all right, I haven't read the Bible as much as I should lately either. I do have certain times where I do read it constantly, but for some reason it wears off. I am trying to get back into the "rythym," if you will, though.

Hey, everyone, ever seen The Passion? If you have, then I encourage you to read Isaiah 53. Actually, if you start midway through chp. 52, you get the entire passage.
