TODAY
at 5 EDT, I find out if Harvard accepted me.
at 6 I find out if Duke Accepted me.
Next week I find out if Princeton took me in, and Baylor will eventually tell me.
Tomorrow I go and FIght with ROllins finanial aid department to try to get enough $ form them to attend.
I don't wish to sound selfish, but I really do need God's help here.

Well I am, but I guess not enough.
Harvard....I expected that rejection letter, Duke is what hurt. I could have sworn I would have gotten in. My rejection letter from them said that nothing was lacking in my application, it was jsut a matter of selecting a thousand students from 20000 applicants.
It hurts. It really does. I did well on te SAT and SAT II's, I had a gloriously wonderful set of extracurriculars and service and rigorous academic courseload all four years.
But Then, I guess as a statement of character, I was down and decided to do what I enjoy most...help people. I went and guided incoming 8th graders the the school and helped out where I could, despite the fact that I have a massive English paper due on Hemingway. ugh. Oh well.
I guess I will live by my doctrine. Everything has a meaning. God must have not wated me to attend those colleges, otherwise the letters would be different.
It's not that I was rejected totally. I can choose between UF, FSU, and Rollins.

Right. God controls everything, and he knows whats best. I'm sorry I wasn't on at the time to pray for you. But, I will be praying for the Baylor, Princeton, and etc... applications.
