My family will be leaving December 23 (yes, we are "skipping" Xmas) to go down to Mississippi to work on Hurricane Katrina relief. We will be doing mostly manual labor at a church (which is also where we will be sleeping) and will be down there for a week. pray for all five of us as we travel, and also that we could be a real light to those down there who need it so desperately. thank you for your support, and have a merry CHRISTmas!

Wow! We'll definitely be praying for you Turquosia. I think that's amazing of you to go down and help with the Katrina victims. And about your comment of skipping Christmas, I think that by going down there you are showing your love for Christ's birth more than any of us.
good luck and God Bless, Triphus

I'll pray for you!
God bless all that you do down there: the hard work, the sharing of the gospel, the helping of the victims. It's so good to see people who really care and are willing to devote their time to helping others. God bless you!
