Well, I'm from New York City, and just this year, my family and I moved down to Florida and bought a house. (Thank the Lord, we've been longing for one for so long). Anyway, I'm a really good student in school. I've made the honor roll many times in NY, and even have to chance to get a scholarship for collage!
Sadly, since we've moved down here, we've come to find that the shcools in this area aren't only bad. They're horrible! Filled with violence, gangs, predjudice and more. Also, the grade given to the school by the district was an "F!" (Out of A, B, C, D, and F, my school that I'll be going to has been given a F, the worst grade!)
But I don't think that I would have hurt this much if I didn't know what I was about to tell you. My neighbor recommend us to this wonderful Catholic private school and even though I'm a Christian, we still decided to check it out. Well the other day, my dad and I took a visit to the school, and it was AMAZING! Beyond words can explain! The setting was so beautifully up-kept, and they had a 100% graduation rate! They offered so many wonderful programs, and once I saw it, I fell in love with it!
The only problem is that my parents nor I have to money to pay for it. The fee is more than $800 a month. Plus, I have to buy my own uniforms, and textbooks (which alone will total something around $400 - in textbooks!) And, we have to pay more than $900 front, and $75 for the registration fee.
I'm in LOVE with this school and when I found out and then saw it with my own two eyes, I was in total aw!
I feel that if I go to the public school, which has the lowest grade possible, literally, I woudn't have such a good time getting through the school year, getting into a good collage, finding the good job, and just being a success throughout the year. And after seeing what a private school is like, I feel so discouraged, depressed, scared, hopeless and so much more.
I pray to God for him to pour out his favor upon me, and that in some way, he'll work a miracle and I'd be able to attend the private school, and cotinue my education in an extremely posotive enviorment. I'm going into the 9th grade and I don't know what to expect. I'm scared of what I'll encounter at the public school, and I'm torn that I might not be able to go to my dream school.
Please, pray for me. Pray that Jahova provides a way for me to attend the high-school of my dreams and that I'll have the oppitunity to have something as extravigant as this. My father works for minimum money at his job, and we have so many bills to pay... we hardly get buy. And I'd really like if I could attend the good school.
Please keep me in your prayers, that the Lord, Jesus Christ will work out a way for my prayers to be answered. But I always keep in mind - let His will be done, and not mine. For I know not of what wonders the Lord has in store for me.

PS: Everyone with needs are in my prayers. We all deserve the oppitunity to be happy. Christ has done so much for me already - Blessed me with a wonderful family, and home, a bed to sleep on at night, and food on my table. I pray that you all will be blessed to the fullest extent.
