I was researching christianity more and came across some criticisms(None are my views)
The first is that muslims say that the trinity of christianity is uncompatible with monotheism.
Christianity is to be like many mystery religions with an important figure slain and risen again.
EA Wallis Budge said it was to like the cult of Osiris with him being slain and resurrected to eternal life.
Christianity is to violent with the amount of warfare mentioned in the bible.
This is the most controversial statement I have read. The end of the prophetic literature it says Judah to be restored via a new monarch, one who will restore the Davidic kingdom and possibly create universal peace.
A professor named Stephen Harris replied
"Jesus did not accomplish what Israel's prophets said the Messiah was commissioned to do: He did not deliver the covenant people from their Gentile enemies, reassemble those scattered in the Diaspora, restore the Davidic kingdom, or establish universal peace,"

Well, I think these are all just phooey. I don't have time to refute all these statements now, but I will come back later. Oh, and don't get depressed about what the world says of us. Jesus promises that people will reject us and hate us and scoff at us and persecute us, but he also promises in John 16:33, " These thing have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." Great, great verse

Geb, I Agree 110%, this world is not perfect. It is not God's fault. it is the worldly social groups messing the world. Homosexuals, alcoholics, Drugies are messing the world up.

I only have time for one objection: The first is that muslims say that the trinity of christianity is uncompatible with monotheism. Basically, they're saying, "Christianity doesn't make sense because you can't have both three gods and one at the same time!" This is what you'd call a "straw man" argument. The very nature of Trinitarianism asserts that there is one God, albeit in three persons. If we did believe that there were three separate gods, we would not call God the Trinity, but the Triad, which is a totally different thing. This is an objection that is not valid because it attacks something that is vigorously denied anyway in the Christian church.

Geb, I Agree 110%, this world is not perfect. It is not God's fault. it [sic] is the worldly social groups messing the world. Homosexuals, alcoholics, Drugies [sic] are messing the world up. Well, I partially agree with you, but it isn't social groups that mess up the world. Sinners mess up the world with sin, and some social groups are proponates of different sins than others are. Geb, great verse. I don't take criticism of Christianity personally. God will deal with those people. I just need to live a life that is a good reflection of my savior and tell whoever will listen about His grace in my life. That is our part. Only the Holy Spirit can change the hearts of sinners.

Well said, Nella.
"It is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men." (1 Peter 2:15)
That verse pretty much nails my policy on ministry by example.
