www.worldslastchance.com/I saw this on one of those silly adverts at the top, but this is really good - a New World Order, led by the Papacy and the U.S.A., evidence (as I see from the front page) from a coupla statements in 1991 and 2004...come on! Anyone agree with them? I surely hope not... ;D No matter how far the Papacy may fall (as in the Middle Ages), it's still God's church (shock! horror! that came from ME!!). No church of 1 billion Christians is going to become the motor of the Antichrist. I doubt that also for the U.S.A., too...it's actually a lot more conservative than very many countries (*COUGH* *COUGH* *SWEDEN* *COUGH* *COUGH*).....

"Dear reader , which power in history fulfills all the identifying marks? To the honest in heart, there is but one answer: The Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church is the beast which God, out of love, is warning us of. It is not the purpose of this article to attack Roman Catholics, but to reveal the truth about the Catholic system. No one need be offended, but rather be encouraged to seek for facts and confirmation."
I never knew! Instead of being offended, I'm going to go seek the facts. Of course, Its clear USA is one of the horns, I'm moving to a deserted island now.
OK, I'm done. Yea, this is pretty rich. Something out of a Chick track.

I've heard worse theories. did you know that we didn't land on the moon? And star trek is true! And the Masons are taking over the country with the help of Proctor and Gamble? and the TV is sending messages subliminally?
The worlds gone mad and it's taken me with it.

Don't worry, these are the fringe groups whose theories never get accepted into society (surprise!) and try to sound official and intelligent...that article about the Catholic Church was written in quite a fine-sounding fashion. Everybody (almost) sees through that sort of thing...

Matthew 16:18
"And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Matthew 16:18 "And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." I'm confused as to how this has anything to do with what was said.

I think he means that no matter what happens, the church will last, no matter what kind of wacky consipracy theories get thrown our way
