I don't think there are ghost are dead people walking on the Earth, but I do believe in spirits, like when you die your spirit leaves your body and goes to heaven. I think ghost are cool, but they are not realistic.

Yes, every person has a spirit (i.e. soul) that leaves this earth when they die. But as for ghosts, REAL ghosts, I'd say they are demons. I'm serious. But I don't like talking about that sort of thing because it's, well, scary.

I agree with Falk here. (BTW, falk is your new nickname...everyone needs one, you've got one now. Yes, I think there could be an element of truth in accounts of ghost stories...but as falk said, I think they could be demons.

This is what i believe too, ghosts are demons disguised as people to trick you, etc. you ever noticed that ghosts appear in places of murder, bars, etc. Why? demons roam there and imitate people they had control over at one time.....honestly ghosts are the #1 thing i fear.

Ghosts like in Ghostbusters (funny movie "who you gonna call... GHOSTBUSTERS!! OK, I'm done) don't exist. I don't think peoples spirits just roam around scareing people. I do think demons roam around, but I'm not too worried about them. Unless I go wrong, in which case I'd probably like a demon to come hang around, there's not a whole lot they can do to me.
Of course, I don't know. I've heard stories, the one that comes to mind is a monk praying in the chapel, when another monk he'd never seen before came in with a broom. He asked him what he was doing, and the monk said he hadn't swept up 15 hundred years ago, so here he was to do his work.
But this whole subject is something I don't worry about too much. If there are ghosts, great. I hope their happy.

... same as Falklands.
Although, something I'd like to ask though is how many of the "ghost" encounters have been with non-Christians? The reason why I ask this is b/c of the fact that it would be easier (in a way) to trick a non-Christian than a Christian. This is so because Christians have the Holy Ghost (or Spirit if you prefer) in them which comforts them and guides them. So, wouldn't it make sense for God to know whether or not the "ghost" is actually a demon? Or at least to give the Christian the idea that it's not what it appears?
I don't know, I'm simply putting forward some ideas.
