Hey everyone I just wanted to see how many people here are part cherokee.I never met my great grandpa he lived on a reservation.He died in the 80's long before I was born infact he might of died in 79.I think my mom said his name was Morton or something like that.I would of loved to of known him.It would of been cool if I would of known his indian name to.This is a place where we can talk about the history of the Cherokees and if your not Cherokee you can still talk in here.Just don't say anyhing bad about us!!!!!!Cherokees rule.

well lets see my mom's dad's mom was 100% cherokee ;D or ie my great-grandma which died around 1950 due a disease she had was full blooded cherokee.

if i'm not mistaken my great grandpa was the chief of a band of the cherokee tribe.I've always though that the government owes the most to the cherokees.

I'm somehow related to Chief Joseph Van, a Cherokee whose daughter married one of my relatives.

Yes, I am Cherokee by blood, because I'm somehow related to that Chief's daughter. That's all right, though, it was confusing.
