He I was wondering what everyone thought about the R.M.S. Titanic? The ship and the movie?Do you think that God let it sink because of how thingyy the people were by saying that God could even sink that ship.Well i've got news for them it did sink.Do you think it was a mixture of human carelessness and God letting it sink? Or do you think that it was just human careless? What are your opinions on the movie? This is one place that you can talk about what you think. I think it was a mixture of both. The ship was a magneificent giant it was as long as the Empire State Building is tall.It was also the fastest ship in 1912.Sadly it's fame as unsinkable was short lived for it hit the iceberg at 11:39 April 14,1912 and sank about two hours or so later on Monday April 15,1912.The movie I say was great a little to lovey dovey for the Titanic. But I still give it two thumbs up.Did any of yall know that dogs were on board? There were.

The Titanic was just an accident, in my mind. Just a human error. The movie, though, was trash. A lot of people liked it, but it was rated "R" (I think) for a reason.

Depends on if you like drama I guess I didn't watch the part if you get my drift.I think that James Cameron should be ashamed of putting that part in the movie. Turning something that is very serious into something that is about well, love. When even though alot of people hearts broke that fateful cold April late night and early morning it wasn't the kind of love that was in the movie. Most the people like Rose and her mother ect. and JAck and most of his friends ect. weren't real,at all.

ok...my thoughts....
I believe that the Titanic sank mainly because of its name and they said that even God couldn't sink it. Well, that was very arogent. Pride comes before a fall. So then the Titanic sank.
As for the movie. There were three big movies about it. Two that I have seen. And you all are talking about the newest version. OK, out of the two Titanic movies that I've seen, I would have to say that I did like the the newest one best. Just because it had alot more of suspence and drama to it. I liked the plot and the love story alot too, EXCEPT FOR THE BAD STUFF. It would have been an excellent movie if they didn't have the R rated scenes in it. I mean I did like the love story alot but can't they just cut out the bad parts? They did do real good with the music score. (I am so into music BTW) And that song just made the movie so romantic. Like i said though....cut out the bad scenes! A movie can be romantic without the r-rated scenes...well that's hellywood (aka Hollywood) for ya... Skip the bad scenes, I would have to say that the movie was real good.
BTW, I never cry in movies, but this movie has been the closest to making me cry. I like sad love storys.

The Theme songMy Heart Will Go Onif you ask me adds to the saddness.I agree they could of done without the bad parts but he could of still of drawn her with atleast a bathing suite on.But as Misty said that's hollywood for ya!

I guess you might be able to say that about me. In fact, it goes in spurts: several months of WWII, several months of aircraft, several months of ancient history, it goes in cycles. ;D
