No he didn't it happened in the 50's or 60's (can't remember which) for gosh sakes! This is (in my opinion) horrible! The man has suffered enough. He has had to live with this secret upon his heart and conscience. That's not right! if this would of been right after they had charged him with the murder then ok. But this was an eternity ago! They need to repeal this in my mind.

When this guy was really young back in the 40's or 50's he was part of the KKK. He killed a black man and two white civil rights acitivists. They are now sentencing him to 60 years in jail when he can't even breath by hiself.

Hmm, that is sad, but I have to say he deserves it. After all, what are we all discussing on the Death penalty? But i think it is VERY wrong of the court to wait that long to judge a case!!!!!

And the ruling is ridiculous! He's 80 and he gets 60 yrs? Thats really stupid!

I have not been following this story either. This is a hard decision to make. Its hard to say, but I guess I'd say he is guilty because he did commit the crime. He killed 3 peope. We don't know if these people were saved so he possibly took away their chance of accepting Christ. So, yes, I say guilty. Yeah, the 60 year ruling IS absolutely rediculous!!!

wait did you say they've dropped the case before? in that case under U.S. Constitution he shouldn't have been tried again. In that case i definitely say that the court was unconstitutional and should not have arrested him.
