What do you think of the Royal family of England? Do you think that Princess Diana(who came to be known as saint diana) was killed in a simple motor car accident or was it foul play?Did Prince Harry, and Prince William go without a mother becuase of there father please tell me what you think about The late Princess diana,Prince charles,Camilla(his new wife,and the royal family over all.

I think that after my research for a school assignment wich I went further in dept to that she was murdered by the royal family.As well as her fiance Al Dodie Foyad. I think Englands Rose died for know reason.I very much dislike Prince charles and his wife.I blame them for her death.I think the only one who had nothing to do with it was the Queen Mother.

I disagree. Do you know how fast they were driving? I think they weren't following the speed limit. They lost control of the car and crashed.

I really couldn't tell 'ya. However, I think that it was a mixture of conspiracy and just simple carelessness. The whole royal family is, from my standpoint, a huge soap opera, so tempers are sure to be aroused. Maybe someone had it out for her, maybe not. It's a matter of knowing the facts, which you guys seem to know more of than I in this subject! ;D

I was just browsing the old Debate Corner archives when I saw this. Shock! Horror!  Princess Diana's death was caused by a drunk chauffeur...Why do you think there was any conspiracy involved? To do with the Royal Family, I have to admit Prince Charles is a little ludicrous, but I still admire the Queen (and the late Queen Mother). God Bless 'er! (Oh yes, I am a silly Englishman - and proud of it ;D) |

I rather liked the Queen Mum. She was a sweet lady from what I could tell. But the Queen she is to engrosed in her and her families figures to care who she stomps. No offence Falklands but I hope that I never see Charles on the Throne of Britain. I hope that when the Queen dies (God Forbid for much confusion will surely follow) that William will take the throne of Great Britian and become King.

and as far as Princess Diana she seemed to live in alot of pain i think i heard she went down a flight of stairs? and the cutting is a sure sign that someone is in disstress

She threw herself down a flight of stairs for attention during her first pregnancy. Obviously it didn't hurt her or William. Atleats not seriosuly. But she never cut herself... She had bulimia which is a eating disorder where u eat eat and eat some more then perge urself of the food.

GDL, I also hope that Prince Charles will not go on the throne. England needs someone (Elizabeth has done a good job) who sets an example for the rest of the country to follow. I am afraid Prince Charles will not set that example, instead following the example of soap-opera characters...

Chuckie's the main character in a horror hack and slash film, Child's play. He's a weird little doll voiced by Brad Dourif who kills people .
And no, I have never seen it, people at work have just seen fit to inform me of every horror film on earths plot and main happenings.

When you study European History, the whole thing is a soap opera of kings and queens. THough it got very interesting around the rennaissance. The 1700's was an amazing century....
As for the royals...I am such a follower of the philosophy of John Locke and hte baron of montesquieu and individualism that I could never put my faith in one, all-powerful monarch, separation of powers is essential. I find the monarchy as nothing but a cultural unity factor, and, of course, a great tourist trap.
Diana was killed by a drunk driver. The queen should have asked Parliament to skip charles and go directly to William as the next king.
Harry is the funny party prince, but I don't think his life is going anywhere positive. William, however, si the msot responsible of the royals. I just wish the media would stop being so stupid in their coverage of him and his girlfirend. If they go out for a night with friends, and come home tired looking, that does nto mean they are on the verge of a break-up.

i am from England and my mum has always felt like diana was assinated. I don't know why people hate germans because the royal family is of german decent, the royal family's REAL surnname is Saxe-Coburg and Gotha which were GERMAN Duchies

AMEN Frisianland!!!!! *hums German anthem* (Yes, I'm German....  Actually, Diana did admit to cuttign herself because she was unhappy in her marriage. But I don't really follow the royal famly drama at all....  I AM offended that everyone int he States seems to have some kind of dislike for Germans, and about the "German" stereotypes, but what can I do.... And that is totally off topic. |
