Well, i was sitting a classroom and all of the sudden a girl pops into the room and says that New York is under attack but someone. In my head i thought that fighter jets from some country were in Ny dropping bombs and we were seeing another pearl harbor....but to everyones surprised a two planes hit the World Trade Center(at that point i had know idea what that was) then everyone in the school pretty much watched the news all day long... we were never in a lock down crisis.... i watched the towers fall, live.... later that day there was rumors of gas shortages(which were later figured out false) so everyone went to the gas station to buy gas, seeing this the gas station hiked there prices from around $1.20 to anywere from $3 to $10 a gallon, but later had to refund everyone they had ripped off in missouri... it was a crazy.

The Reason why we went on lock down was because if they dropped a bomb on Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier it could very well wipe out Bossier and Shreveport.

Actually, where I live, I guess that one plane where the passengers tried to take it over went right over us (maybe to the north). But, anyways, I was in class, and my teacher didn't tell us about it until like 10:00 in the morning. I was shocked, and we talked about it a little. The thing was, reports were so sketchy that there wasn't much to talk about. That night, I remember being scared, due to all of the news reports and things like that.

I was at school in 2nd hour. I was in social studies and all of a sudden over the intercom there was an announcement that terrorists had hijacked some airplanes and ran into the World Trade Towers.
I remember a tv was immediately put in our room and we watched the news the rest of the day.

I didn't mean RIGHT over my school. It was a couple miles (don't know specifics) north, maybe twenty or thirty, I don't know. It was close enough, though. Sorry if it was misleading. And the one I was talking about was the Pennsylvania one.
Hey, Titanian, I was told about it in Social Studies too. Of course, that was back in 6th grade.

I was at home; doing school (I think it was math). A friend called and told us to turn on the news. We turned on the news and saw that the Trade Towers were being crashed into! I think I was in 7th grade. We watched the news for a long time, but then we had to finish school. It was scary because we didn't know what the terrorists would do next. ~Catoepia

I was in bed still. (Ya know I'm homeschooled.) So my mom came into my room and woke me up at around 8:00 and said something about some plane crashing into one of some twin buildings (yes at that time I also had no idea what they were either.) So I slowy got up and saw the tv. Well right after I got up, I watched the second plane hit the other building so I knew it was something big and bad. yep so I watched the news all day that day and didn't really do any school. hehe anyway, that was a scary day. I didn't know what was goin to happen next. [glow=limegreen,2,300]~Misty:)[/glow]
