Hey I was talking to my dad today about Titan and we were talking about how we can see that after a distance space stops and there is nothing. No physical matter exists at that point. Also black holes are basically portals into the nothingness.
I have some ideas for this but I have to make dinner so I will be back to explain more.

Okay now back to my ideas.
Basically what I was thinking was what if the nothingness was the spiritual realm? I mean it kind of makes sense that the physical realm would be "inside the spiritual realm since God made us and the physical realm. Also maybe since in black holes you have to lose your life to get in that kind of shows how you go from the physical to the spiritual.
Anyone else have thoughts about this?
Maybe I'm way out there but I just thought I would share my thoughts.

Interesting . . .
But, isn't the nothingness in the Black Hole, just an extension of the Physical world?

No actually a black hole is actually believed to be a worm hole which means all of the black holes are somehow intertwined, but I mean no one knows for sure.

As a sci-fi lover and occational novice astronomer, a black hole is simply a very dense cluster of matter created after the supernova of a star. The actual process by which this matter becomes so dense is not one I understand, however the only thing unique about it is that the gravity is powerful enough to drag in light. Portals, time travel and whatever else are definately in the realm of sci-fi though.
The nothingness region is an interesting concept for the Spiritual Kingdom of God. I personally don't care where it is, as long as I'm there.

That's what I thought, that black holes were simply areas of very large amounts of gravity.
On the nothingness thing, it is simply mind-boggling to think of something beyond our huge universe, but since the universe had an origin, it must have something beyond it.

Wow! This an interesting topic!
I never thought of that before. I always thought that heaven was in such a different kind of realm.
But you could say that the black holes are a door to the spiritual realm(heaven) as at the same time it is also the physical realm too, which would be considered as a cluster of matter created after the supernova of a star. And why it would kill you to get sucked into it, is because heaven is too intense for our bodies to live through. And that is why we get new bodies in the end when we go to heaven.
Here is another idea. Like say for instance, as the earth is round. You could travel all the way around the world and come back to the same place. The earth is in the universe. OK, the universe could be a little planet like thing in heaven. What if the universe is round? But just say it goes on and on and on because it is so extreemely big that we can't comprehend to compare it with earth. So heaven could be surounding the whole universe, as the universe is surrounding the earth.
Now I don't really think that the universe is round, but hey, you never know. It just could be...even though it seems never ending.
Now those are some of my ideas about it. But I believe that the world will never figure this out, cause things like that are is to big fo us to comprehend.
What do you think?

Well, isn't going through a black hole just as much as a realm into the spiritual world as a shot in the head? You die either way.

Me, I think heaven is another dimension, not something we can reach in the empirical universe. In fact, Paul talks about three heavens: one the "real" world, one a spiriitual heaven, and the other the place where God is. That may not be all Paul, but it's throughout the Bible. I got this from a sermon by Pastor Adrian Rodgers, a guy on TBN.

Well what i think is that the world the universe is all in Heaven.
those black areas are probably a part of heaven as well. just think of it if God can hold the earth i one hand than it is quite posable that he can hold the whole universe in two.
heaven as far as i know has no boundries on time or the space that it takes up. because we are garenteed to have eturnal life with Him. so it should be equaly posable for Heaven to span beyond stop.

Your right Vanador. If you think about it it makes our HUGE universe seem so tiny.
Picture this: Visualize a chalkboard, put a tiny dot in the center (that will be earth), now make a small circle around the dot (that's our solar system, now make a small circle surrounding the first circle (that's our galaxy), now visualize the whole chalkboard filled with all of those dots and circles (It makes our universe seem humongous!), now think that this is a tiny ball that God made in 7 days.
Doesn't that give you a picture of how huge and amazing God really is?

Just a bit of inside info on what a black hole is.
A black hole starts of as a star, a few million years old, if not older. It has a huge gravity, which, eventualy, will be so strong that it pulls on itself. The sun supanovas, or, bluntly putting it, so Lister can understand, goes and explodes. Depending on the amount of weight the sun throws off it can aviod becoming a black hole and becomes a neutron star, where the atoms are as closely packed in as possible. A black hole, however, is a sientificly proved imposiblility, as more than one atom ocupies the same space. Sience has also proved their existence, though. Most black holes are the size of a pinhead, larger ones, such as one that I've heard is in the center of our galaxy, are the size of a pea. All black holes have amazing gravity and can suck in light, and even time. Once you've passed the Event Horizen, then only stuff that's faster than light can escape. Scientists also theorosisize about primordial black holes, which are the size of atoms. They haven't, however, discovered them yet.
I am not taking a side yet, but this proves to be a good debate. I hope the information that prety much follows on from AC said proves to be useful.

As God doesn't specifically mention black holes in His plan for salvation, I'm going to avoid it all together. I'm kinda just figuring that upon the Judgement day, I'm going to get taken to the City that Jesus will have on earth. Then I hang out 1000 years until I get sucked up into heaven. Whatever Jesus has planned, I've got to agree with whether I like it or not.
Black holes are interesting, but never have they been pointed out to have any religious significance, and I'd be weary of trying to for fear of saying something to make God mad. Just an opinion though.

We have ot be careful not to try and size God though. He is omnipresent. Some one who is omnipresent can not be sized in reality. He's "too big for our brains"

(now that I have time to get back to this topic...)
That is just the point Xanatos. There is no way you can possibly imagine how big our own universe is and if you can't do that then how can you imagine how big heaven is outside of the universe?
But don't get me wrong you are absolutely right. Just agreeing with you.
