No, I actually got the information from the RECORDS OF CONGRESS!!!!!  (shock) Oh, yeah, like all we have to do is snap our fingers and then ZAAAAAM! Osama bin Laden pops out of his cave and surrenders? Listen, there are hundreds of differend hiding spots and caves that he could be in on the Afghan/Pakastani border, and bin Laden may be in one of them, or he may not be. bin Laden isn't the important one, he's just a symbol. What we need to do is get all of the terrorists in Afghanistand AND Iraq. |

I am so utterly appalled at the debate here. The only people who seem to be trying to be fair and even minded about this are Titanian Democracy and Armany. There may have been more, and I apologize otherwise, but they stood out, and they post often.
I'm going to give everyone a little lecture on how to debate a point. First of all, you don't go way out of your way to make yourself look ignorant, stupid, uninformed or fanatical. No one will listen to you when you do this.
Also, whenever you make a point, make sure to back it up with some kind of evidence. If the evidence is commonly known (such as OJ Simpson trial or Who Shot JFK) then so be it, but make sure that you support your claims, however slanderous.
Next, swearing makes you look like an idiot. You may be brilliant, but the instant you curse, I (and many of my countrymen) will stop listening to you with any kind of seriousness.
Next, make sure your responses are concise, to the point, well put and thought out. To make 30 posts in a row with single, unsupported ideas is ridiculous and makes your entire position look bad. I do not agree whole-heartedly with Armany or Titanian Democracy, but I'd rather be on their side because they hold themselves better in actual debate.
Please, please PLEASE think about what you are saying and the effect it will have before you say it. Keep your audience in mind always.
I'm going to wait to wade in here so that this bloody forum can cool down. You guys are way too charged up, especially "halz."
And you wanted a single thing that Bush has accomplished? He managed to get significant reform on partial birth abortions. That's one. Bush is also revamping our intelligence agencies, something that's needed done since 1991, during his father's time and Clinton's. Bush is making sure to include Russia and China in talks with North Korea, intelligent (regardless of my opinion of him) because North Koreans respect those nations. Bush has actually been the first to initiate a real movement against terrorism, abet under duress.
These are just a few things that a poor, uninformed person could say in five minutes.
