I know we've all probably read at least a few classic pieces of literature in our school careers (some may have read Cliff Notes versions ;D). What our some of your favorites?

Here are a few of my favorites:
The Grapes of Wrath- John Steinbeck The Great Gatsby- F. Scott Fitzgerald Great Expectations- Charles thingyens (filter probably blocks part of his last name)
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand was also good, but it's got some questionable material in it and a very humanistic theme that I don't agree with.
As you can tell, I'm a geek and an avid reader. ;D Anybody else like to read out there, or has anyone read any of these novels.

I have actually never read any of those.....except Great Expectations which I don't remember much of ( it was like in 8th grade.)
I have read Jane Eyre, The Last of the Mohicans, am about to read, " The Old Man and the Sea" by Hemmingway, and have also read...alot of wishbone versions ( blushes profusely.....)

Austen... so so. I am enjoying Northanger Abbey right now, though!! I haven't read her really famous books. In fact, I have only read Mansfield Park, which was horrid. Fanny had me wanting to slap her.
I've read a lot too, Aramany! Avid readers, unite!! I just love classic literature. To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Count of Monte Cristo, Watership Down, and The Holy War are currently my favorite books.
Must go and finish slide show on Mormonism now... toodles!
