Statistic I don't want to be another Statistic. I don't want to cry myself to sleep another night. I want love. I want peace. I want hope. I am lost... In the dark... Can someone please turn on the light? My eyes hold no more tears. My heart is cold and empty. Can I be helped? Why me? What did I do to deserve the pain? What did I do to deserve the punishment? I hear them yelling. With no end. There voices forming a melodic harsh song. The song that never quits. The tune that you want to die. Do I haft to be another statistic? Lord Help this broken spirit. Lord help this distraught mind. I need to be loved. I need to be held. I need something better than this. I don't want to be another statistic....
As is obvious I was havin depression problems that day! Much better now, But I think that it's still a great poem!

"Hold Me" Please hold me. Though Lady night approaches fastly. With her veil of unknown promises; so beautiful yet so scary. Before you leave tell me that you love me. Tell me that I am wanted. I am like the last morning dove. Holding on to the last ray of light. Hold me close to you in your arms. Before the twilight comes.
You used to be like the Angels. Shining like a light house in my nights. Become my angel once again my love. Now before you leave. Tell me of how you once loved me. Hold me closer in your precious arms my love.
I am like the last morning dove! Holding on to the night calling the moon the sun. As I beg I wish for your love again. Hold me Tenderly... Hold me close and within your arms...
Hold, me... a more sentimental song/poem

LOUISIANA The sun once shone upon the mighty Mississippi Delta. Destruction looms there now, like a plague of Yellow Fever. This plague came in the form of a Lady named Katrina. A lady of Beauty and destruction. She, the Lady of Water. She commands the Waters with one mighty sway of her arms. All are found unaware by her presence. Plaquemines was the first found in her path. Plaquemines, the old and wise. Her small and slender body dieing and shrinking year after year. The Lady of Water threw her Water upon Madame Plaquemines. Madame never stood a chance. Water rushed her mass, drowning what was left of her Southern Tip. Up the State it went, until she came into view of her Biggest Prize yet. Lady New Orleans. The Sin City of the South The City of Cajun, Voodoo, and Tourists. She toar at her weak and outdated Body guards. Breaking them and drowing parts of Lady New Orleans in Water up to 18 feet. Lady Katrina Finally left her be. That is, after much destruction was dubbed upon the City of Parties. Water stood, turning the City into a Lake. Life resumed, slowly.... But she was never the same....
This poem is dedicated to the victims & survivors of Hurricane Katrina, wether they be from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, or Flordia. GOD BLESS lol, I think that it was self explainitory... ^_^

I stood on the brink of insanity. I looked up into the sky, the clouds gray. The sky a dismal blue. I fell to my knees and started sobbing in my own problems. Death had haunted my family like a ghost in the night. Not letting us get over mourning for one until it scared us again. I cried out in my disbelief,"My Lord, my lord. Why have you forsaken me?" I heard a crack of thunder sound. A beam of light came through the sky and the clouds and hit the ground. Out of the light flew a dove. It perched itself next to me. On a rock with the light on it. I realised something. It was I, I who had been forsakening him. Not the other way around. Thank you Jesus! You have shown me the light! Forgive me my lord! I love you!
When I think about the Lord how saved me. How he raised me to the utter most. How he filled me with the holy ghost. How he picked me up and turned me around, and how he set my feet on solid ground. It makes you wanta shout HALELUJAH thank you JESUS! For Lord your worthy of all the glory and all of the honor, and all the power and all the PRAISE!
THANK YOU JESUS!!! I just wrote the poem, the song some other dude wrote but I love it.

Lying, upon the bottom of the Atlantic is a Giant. Named after the Greek Titans of Mythology themselves. Huge, giant, powerful creatures who in Mythology defied the Gods. Oh how alike the Titanic was to these imaginary creatures. The irony is so present that you can smell it like bleach on clothing. The ship was once more elegant than Buckingham Palace. A Palace on water it once was. Now, it is a ghost. Exciled to the Abyss of the Atlantic. Its hull is now incased in a cake of mud. Its four mighty pillars of smoke are gone. Lying in some uncharted spot on the ocean floor. Its brilliant electric lights have been out for almost an entire Century. The Iceberg that hit it, an assasin. Stabbing the mighty ship on it Starboard bow side. 2228 people on board that faithful April night in 1912. 1500 souls lost to the abyss of the Atlantic. 728, having to live with what they saw that night. Some of the 728 will be haunted by the Titanic, as if it is a ghost. For now and for ever more the Titanic will be, Lying, upon the Abyss of the Atlantic.
u knew it was comin sooner or later. lol

Lonely. I felt the pressures of life Pressing in upon me. I felt trapped. No one knew what I felt, nor did they want to. I was ready to give up. Grief devoured my life. But then I found him. Jesus came in. He set me free of lifes trap. HE set me free of everything that had me as a slave. I got saved. He now is with me. He guides me on my path. He watches over me. No Longer Lonely. HALELUJAH! ;D

9/11 Will Be Avenged
Time, an unruly master. One day you can be here, the next you can be long gone. Images Ring through my mind. Above most is a pair of towers. A magnieficent thing. Taller than the tallest tree in the Forest of Red. A monument to our Strength. A bang is heard in the south. A cloud of fire, with ash mingled within. The Countanences of the people below were that of shock. Then as if in Flashback was heard due North. The faces of the people were now white with terror. People, running away from the looming fires. Dreams, ended in a blink of an eye. Hearts, broken beyond repair. A thud you can here and you know that someone has just met our Lord, face to face. A sound similar to that of a sinkings ships hull. Due south one of the two giants fell. A scream roared through the people of New York City. They ran. Not but a few minutes later the Northern Giant fell. The two giants together made an ash cloud bigger than that of Mount St. Helens. We refused to give up. As we do now. We will avenge you, your deaths will be avenged.
WE Will NEVER forget 9-11-01.
This is dedicated to all who died. in the 9/11 attacks and the present war. This also includes there friends and family. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Verse1: Everyday that I can sing, of you. Everyday that I can give my praise to you. Everyday, that your amazing presence can fill me. Everday that your mercy flows, Everyday that I hear your voice it is all worth while... Everday, that I have your love in my heart is always worth the while!
Chorus: Everyday! I am so blessed! Everyday! I am so unworthy lord, that you live in me. Everday! Thank you for Blessing me! Everyday! YEah, everday, every hour, every second of the day! Everyday! Oh, how worthy of my praise you are! oh yeaah! Oh yeeah! Everyday!
Verse 2: I remember when, fear consumed my soul. But then I found, or, should I say, you found me? Then again, you had always watched over me. Even when I didnt care. You loved this wretched soul.
Chorus: Everyday! I am so blessed! Everyday! I am so unworthy lord, that you live in me. Everday! Thank you for Blessing me! Everyday! YEah, everday, every hour, every second of the day! Everyday! Oh, how worthy of my praise you are! oh yeaah! Oh yeeah! Everyday!
Verse 3: Now I know that i'm not perfect. Now I know that I fall short of your amazing glory! Yet, everyday you choose to forgive me of my sin. You choose to live in me, and love me no matter what. I thank you for this now, as I sing your praise. Now come on lets all jump and sing a joyful song!
Chorus:Everday! I am so blessed! Everyday! I am so unworthy lord, that you live in me. Everday! Thank you for Blessing me! Everyday! YEah, everday, every hour, every second of the day! Everyday! Oh, how worthy of my praise you are! oh yeaah! Oh yeeah! Everyday!
Closing bridge: Now You are in me! Forever to stay.... EVERYDAY!

I liked Statistic the best, because I relate to it very well. I love all your poems though, and it would be really cool to hear you sing your song someday when you're famous! ;D
