I'm assuming most of you have seen the Christmas favorite, "It's a Wonderful Life." If you haven't, it's about a guy who lives a good life, gets depressed, and wishes he had never been born. Well, an angel named Clarence who is trying to "get his wings" gets sent down to talk to this guy (named George Bailey) and shows him what the world would be like if he had never been born.
What the world look like without you on it? Anything small or big you've done to change the course of things? Talk about it here!
As for me, I doubt I've done anything of note, so the world probably wouldn't miss me.

No one outside of my family/friends would notice if I were gone. I've done nothing to change the course of life to any major extent, except for some small things that probably don't mean a lot. I would hope to have more of an impact, though, as I get older.

Only one thing that I can think of. If I hadn't been born my mom would of either of gone crazy or committed suicide when her parents died. She said I was the only reason why she stayed sain.

lol it would be almost wrong for me not to reply to this with all of my sucidie thoughts
my dad saw it and told me about it but iv never seen it
if i was never born or killed myself the world would be very difffert in someway maybe on a local famly and friends level or on a world scale
unlike most people im a dreamer and i can very well see myself as the leader of this country i have no limits on what i can do and change and impact
picturing myself gone heavly depresses me and makes me very very sadd to the point of wanting to hurt myself at times and i have before

Hmm, yeah, probably just my family and friends would miss me ( you guys included in the latter...I think LOL) But I have been a small part in leading some people to Christ and I always feel that important.

Well, I'd consider you a friend. ;D
In fact, that's the whole point of "It's a Wonderful Life".
I'm not even sure a lot of my friends would miss me, lol

Are you kidding TD? Can anyone else here imagine Ct without you? No way! Yeah we saw that movie last night in fact and you're right, its the small things that make the biggest difference sometimes. I like the quote at the end ( i was thinking of putting it on my signature) "No man is a faliure who has friends." It really dosn't matter how much money you have ( like Potter) your wealth is measured in friends.

I can't exactly point to anything, but I don't know how I shored up friends, or how my prayers changed lives. I mean, maybe my being there for a friend with bulimia gets her through a lot easier, and that in turn means she doesn't starve herself when she feels down because she knows she can call me, and that means she eventually makes it through the disease, and that means she can minister to other people, and help them with EDs. I've no idea how many times a kind word or a smile on the street might have affected someone. It's impossible to know.

Very true. But I would rather not think about dying. No, let God do His work through us all, to our greatest capacity.
