Well, this was soooo wacky that I though I HAD to share it with you guys.
Well, I was in the car, going down the road today...and there was a homeless looking man walking his Opossum!! He had a collar and a leash on that ugly thing and was walking it down the road!!!
For you non-Okies (or you okies who don't know what an opossum is...) the word is pronounced "Possum" and they're those overgrown rat looking things. Walking one of them is weird EVEN FOR OKLAHOMA!!
It must be the end of the world....

lol sounds crazy but when my Dad ownwed a petshop he used to walk the rabbits withthem on harnesses!!!!

Hmm, well there's some weird people in our area. One man rollerblades and propells himself with skis down the road. Good excercise, but it looks wacky. I was ROTFL when I read that!  |

Our dad had to shoot a possum once, cause it was sick and kinda going crazy..... thats the only experience i've had with a possum ;D

The ONLY one? Well, where I live, I see 'em daily.... Ick, nasty creatures. My dogs use 'em as chew toys. Yeah, Opossums have a tendency to be rabid, so watch out!

yeah, i think thats the only time. you see them daily? wow! of course, i might have seen acouple of them laying dead by the side of the road (gross) but i don't really see them on a daily basis  |

It's just an abbreviation for opossum. Since the O is silent, I think.
i imagine they have alot of intresting animals in Australia.....

cause we have animals called possums in aus
yeah we got beautiful animals down here, except we don't see them in the city, except for the birds.

cool. i don't think we have any different animals.... i heard coyotes the other night. it was pretty scary but those are only deeper in the woods. |

WOW, my friend Zobron just e-mailed me. He lives close to the "possum man." He saw the guy walking his possum...this time the possum had a red cap on....
Need I say it, people like him are the reason Americans have the right to bear arms...
