Towards ur earlier comment about hoping to be married and have kids before the end of the world.......... WHY? ? One of my friends at school mentioned that and I was stunned. The Absolute Greatest thing that could possibly happen to us is being taken to Heaven. Who cares about earthly pleasures when u have the chance to go to the most holy most amazing place ever! The pleasures of marriage here on earth are great, but when it comes to going to Heaven, does it even compare? If Jesus was to come right now and take us up will u even think about the fact that u didn't get a chance to be married???/ i don't think so

I know, Triphus...don't take me too seriously on that point. I'd rather Jesus come right now and then I'd not care one bit about marriage.

I would also like to live a little before I go to Heaven. Not saying that I wouldn't enjoy going right now, but I just feel like there is so much unfinished business here on Earth. I long to do what God wants me to here, then die and go to Heaven.

I agree, Armany. Don't bite my head off, Triphus, but I would kinda like to get married, have kids, have a family, and then go to Heaven. However, I wouldn't complain if Jesus came back right now! I think it's natural for almost everyone to think like that because it's what we've always wanted in our lives--the "American Dream"--but we can't even currently comprehend the joy that we'll find in Heaven which will be better than all earthly things. I really would like to leave more of an impact on earth, though, before I die and go to Heaven.

;D That was funny. When are you doing the next sermon? I'd be happy to help write some of it, by the way. I don't really mind though.

I'm sry if i sounded kinda angry I wasn't meaning to bite ur head off, but several kids had said that at school and when i saw that on here i just kinda lost it. I personally can't wait for Jesus to come, but I know that He wants me here to fill His purpose for my life, but as soon as i do that i wanna be up there asap!

Yes. What you do in this life really determines what happens in the next

What do you mean by that?
Your actions don't determine if you go to heaven. It is your belief in Jesus dying for you. You need to obey good and serve him, but it is not your actions that get you to heaven.

True, but it is your actions that will get you into hell. Repentance is KEY to getting into heaven.

And what we do here will be revealed in heaven before God.....thus we need to get the gospel out etc.....
And I think it is just natural for people to want to have a family life. God made it that way. we just have to keep our priorities straight and keep him in 1st place.
