I have read three of his books, Hangmans Curse, Nightmare Academy, and Monster. Monster was a great thriller book that was greatly written. I would greatly reccomend that book. I read it in about 2 days and it is about 400 some pages long.

LOL. I've read Hangman's Curse and Nightmare Academy. I didn't like Nightmare academy, because it was a little over the realistical line. I've read almost all the Cooper kids too. Mostly I like his style.

Nightmare Academy was a little different, but it was still good. Have you seen the Hangman's curse movie? I want to see it. In the Monster book I have it says that some movies are coming out based on Peretti's books.

Yeah the Cooper Kids series was great! I liked Hangman's Curse too, but the newer series he wrote is a little dark.

I notice a lot of his novels are based in the Idaho (or was it Montana?) wilderness. I suppose he grew up around there. It was in the book The Oath. Man, that had a creepy front cover...

There is a creepy picture in the Hangman's Curse book that shows the dead guy with his hand out and head titled with the hawk or whatever on his shoulder.

Has anyone read The Visitation? I started that along with Monster and it's good too. Probably not as exciting, though.

What did you think of the ending? Did you think the Bigfoots were bad or good? I think that book would make a great movie.

The movies aren't quite true to the books. :-(

Good for you! That's my favourite Peretti book ever, aside from This Present Darkness. I've heard Peretti say that he might do another Darkness book soon. If he does, I can't wait!

Is this presnet darkness a sequel to Piercing the Darkness ( or a prequel?) That was a really cool book. It is actually mostly believable, unlike some of his other books No offense, but they did get a litle wild at times....
