Do any of you all like classical music in particular? Most of the talk about music has been about Christian rock and pop, but surely some of you must share my love for classical music. Or you surely must appreciate their incredibly hard work. So, vote away...

I love classical music!
I play the classical guitar (works by Guliani and others), and I love Dvorak's New World Symphony, among others, of course.

Once I have played a classical piece for a while I really get into it but i usually don't want to play it at all. Listening wise I'm not a big fan of classical music though I like the occassional piece- the nicest ones I think have tones of 7th chords (is that the right spelling?) because its such a rounded sound B

I don't like classical music. But I do agree that they were very talented.

Ok, that's fine with me... but you gotta appreciate how hard they worked and how difficult it is to actually compose pieces. I don't have any appreciation for rap at all though...

Classical music takes the most talent out of ANY to play, or sing. Believe me, I know. lol. It takes SO much more talent, time, and effort than rock and roll, rap, or some 'so-called' music. The only close second is bluegrass....

How is bluegrass a close second? I'm interested...

Sad that GDL is bored by classical music. It's a part of my life now; I want to become a professional musician. I don't know what I'd do without music. (That's just an expression, of course. God is my provider

Now don't get me wrong. I love music. I just like singing with it. Violins and Cello's and that kind of stuff just make a lulaby. A pretty one but a lulaby none the less. But it is cool that you r talented at that.

They don't just make a lullaby, though. There's a lot more really cool music you can do on the violin besides sweet melodies.

I enjoy classical music at times, though those occurrences are very few and far between. It's not something that I'd want to listen to constantly, though.

Umm, I'm kinda in between. I don't like the sad, depressing, angry sort of classical music that is played often on our station. But I LOVE the happy kinds of classical music. Moonlight Sonata is so pretty, and I play Pachelbell's Canon in D pretty good on the piano.
I find it nice music to listen to while I do my schoolwork.

Also, bluegrass is pretty hard. if you have ever heard a REaL bluegrass piece you can tell just by listening to it that is takes alot of talent. my mom used to play and it takes alot out of you, always strumming like that.
What do you think is the hardest insrument to play? I think bagpipes (does nEone else besides me here like those things? LOL)

I love bagpipes! But I think the hardest instrument to play is the piano. No, really. I know anyone can put their finger on a keyboard, but it is so much different making your fingers get the exact touch that you want, listening for the slightest discrepancy in sound, on top of all the finger control you have to get while going at 100 miles an hour with your hands . But don't think I'm anywhere near that kind of level yet ;D
