I was born June 10th, 1991. Although I was one month late i weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz.
My mother had grown up in a Roman Catholic house. Over the years she had grown apart from the Lord. Years later, when I was born she noticed something was missing and found out it was God.
After about two months of church she stopped going, and started to go back to school. Growing up whenever we went to catch the buss I would ask what the building behind us was. And I would be told It was a church.
"Can we go there?" i asked one day. "No, we are not Christian and if we did go to church it would be a Roman Catholic church."
A few years later and we moved up the street and she again though something was missing, and realized again that it was God. We decided to go church shopping. The first two weeks we went was to the church i had asked about all those years ago. We tried a few other church only to find out that it was the church for us.
We went on June 20th, 1999, and my mother was saved in October and got baptized in November.
I was amazed to see the change in her , although it was not physical it was still very much noticeable. I had decided to find out what it was.
I had searched and found it to be God and was deeply moved in April of 2000. I had found my Saviour and was baptized on June 4th, 2000.
I have now been through extremely tough times in my church and in my Christian walk and have found it to strengthen my walk with him.
I thank him for saving me at such a young age, and for being there for me in all times.
