I don't really care about matching.

I just wear normal pants (ie- jeans) with a nice-er shirt to church- nothing fancy, though.

Well, I usually wear a skirt and a nice shirt to church. I love shopping too! Shopping is sooo cool! My favorite kind of clothing, usually, is just blue jeans and a regular shirt. I do NOT wear mini skirts! Or shirts that show your stomach! But yeah, I love to match stuff. Blue jeans and a blue shirt do, normally, go together, it really does depend on the colors and the jeans or the shirt, though. ~Cat LOl, amen Cat! i don't wear mini-skirts or shirts that show stomachs either. To church I wear a skirt, dress, aLWAYs. Except maybe if its a casual even on Sat. or Wed. But I look at it as going to a wedding, you would dress up for that, right? So why not dress up for God and show up wearing your best? But I don't blame those fo you who like to go in comfy wear to church.

personally, i like to dress up for church. to me its really the only day of the week that i get to dress up for.so its fun. i feel that it's respecting God more when dress our best for his house (the church). of course i completely understand that God loves you JUST as much as me if you prefer to go casual. its just my personal opinion.

i get ur point gynovia- but the problem with me is i love dressin up too much and with me it would end up being more about the clothes than God and i dont want that

I know this is very late in on the discussion, but: I dress up for church in my nicest jeans and button-up shirt. I like dressing up a lot as well, and when I get into situations where I dress up in a tuxedo, well, I wish I could do it more. ;D

Well, that's what alot of people will tell you. And it's true. But once again, it is God's house, and so I do want to look my best.

I agree expensive clothes are stupid. I think the debate with we males is the sagging aspect. I, as a teenager, like the baggy shorts and jeans and I sag a little bit, but nothing shows and it is not in any disrespectful manner at all. There I'm a guy and talked about clothes...I feel like I gained way too much estregin in thsi thread.

well..that didn't help Dean saying he was "metrosexual."
I find sticking to your principles and looking good while doing it keeps you popular. I mean Look at Ann Coulter, though she is hated for what she stands for, as long as she is consistent and keeps wearing leather...she sells books.
