Maybe in a rape that's the only time i'd even half way near tolerate it.Many Republicans are like that.

I guess I'm republican... although I do not agree with everything that the republican party seems to stand for (death penalty, favoring big-businesses, the Iraq War), although mot of their moral stances I'm a-ok with. I find it odd that you guys would support abortion in the case of rape. I mean, just because the baby was concieved unwillingly, does that give it any less right to live? It makes more sense to support it only when the mother's life is in danger, and with modern technology, that almost never happens nowadays.

That is very true TheCatholic. The person could always give the baby to a foster home or something.

but also alot of times it could save a mothers life. Since the man forced her into, well you know they wouldn't have any chose if it would save there lives.

GDL... I'm afraid I don't understand what your saying...
Are you trying to tell us that rape makes pregnancy more dangerous?

I understand it might be more dangerous if the girl is young, but in most cases it wouldn't be that dangerous.

if she is raped and tries to resist (as most, most likely try to give in) then it would be dangerous period.

Well... yes.
But after being impregnated, there would be no further danger compared to getting pregnant the normal way.

Hmm, kinda straying from the subject, aren't we guys? lol, thats ok... Abortion is Murder. Plain and simple. With technology today, a pregnant woman who was forced to be so has like a 80% chance of suvival rate after having a baby. I don't know what it is for the baby, but it can't be too low. Like I've written before, I had cousins that were born unhealthy and they turned out fine!
Has NEone ever heard the story of the girl who was aborted but somehow the abortion didn't work? It's a really cool story...ugh, I can't remember the girls name now....It'll come back to me...

Man, I feel sorry for that girl. That would sure make you feel bad if you knew that your parents tried to get rid of you, but it didn't work.
