Sorry, as usual, I read everything too quick. Okay, could you point out the verse? It helps if I can see it. Siko, from my limited study of the subject, Magog was a tribe named at the dispersal of Noah's four sons that migrated to the Ararat region. I now recall reading in the Bible notes that Gog was the leader of "Rosh or Magog." You still can't just explain it away, though, as a simple ancient no-name, because Israel was never attacked at thsi immensity from the "North," but your point is valid. I'm going to try to read it again, so I'll have a fresh memory of it. Do you think we should move this to the Bible Discussions topic?

Magog is THOUGHT to be what they called back then land around the black sea. This could be Turkey. gog apeears one other time in the Old Testemant. 1 Chr. 5:4. Also, Babylon attacked from the North. SO they have been attecked from that direction

But, Choco., Babylon DEFEATED Israel, and Israel didn't have enough spoils for "seven years" of fuel, not that I'm aware of. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ezekiel 38 clearly states that, by divine intervention (all through the passage), Israel is saved. Nebuchadnezzar (boy, that was a long word) took Israel, or shall I say Judah, captive, and there was not any divine intervention to save the nation. So, I don't feel that Babylon's attack on Judah could be seen as the invasion depicted here.
