I surrender.... I give up.... Im waving a white flag Bill o'Reilly and the conservatives have won ..... ok i agree with TD.... america has not done anything wrong with there power.... Until now.... I guess, Bush today said something about invading Iran, which in fact is kinda stupid, wasting years, money and troops is a bad idea.. back to the mop thing, i agreed this war in iraq is bad but not the bombs on japan they deserved it. But what right do we have to Force democracy on any country, doesnt anyone see something wrong with this??? what if they tried to force there ways on us? the Middle east has been fighting since the dawn of time and they will continue until Jesus comes back, its as simple as that.... So i will leave it at this POLITICS R EVIL........ The only thing i care about is serving God and the lord Jesus Christ

I'm not letting you get away so easily ;D
We are not "forcing" Democracy on any one. Do you really think that the Iraqi people preffered a murderous dictatorship to being able to choose their leaders? You can't compare us aiding the Iraqis to someone imposing a dictatorship in America.
P.S.: Bill O'Reilly is NOT a Conservative. He's a Neo-Con in sheeps clothing . . . at best.

I though america was first.....bad economy...... social security is going down the drain....5.5% unemployment....hmmmm Good point! I answer before TD does. (TD should be in debate he's good! brownie points! ;D) In the long run it will help America. A threat will be elimnated and America will be safer. Consvervatives are usually not always Christains. We might have a bad economy in the Americans sense of the word but we are still WAY above all the other countries in the world. Social Security is oing to be reformed. Unemployment rate has gone down. P.S sorry for getting worked up earlier! ;D

Hey guys I don't mean to go off subject but since we're talking about Irag.
Did you know that a few years back we sent millions of dollars of drugs to Iraq during their plague? Is that not helpful? Well it turned out not to be, Saddam took those drugs and sold them in the Black Market and that's how he had the money for his army!
A guy came to chapel last Wednesday and said that when he went over that he was cussed at for the U.S. being selfish and not giving them any drugs to care for THOUSANDS that died!!!!!!!
He showed us some pics of the hospitals and it was terrible what Saddam did to them.
So of course the guy went back to the U.S and was granted a half a million dollars worth of drugs to be taken back to Iraq where he distributed them across the hospitals in Iraq.
All in all, does this not show how much the U.S cares for people around the world?

(Hey, Mike, are Matt's cobwebs still shaking?.....)
Good point, and, the tsunami relief efforts . . .another great humanitarian effort on our behalf.
Who do I consider Conservative besides me . . . hmmm . . . Senator Tom Coburn from Oklahoma. He's VERY Conservative (like me!!) ;D Hey, I'm more Conservative than Bush!! He's way too liberal on immigration.
BTW, the unemployment rate is lower now than it was when Billy was in office.

Yes the world would mostly be an evil world without america. The only injustice that I can think of was the Indians but the government has since made it up to my tribe and others. We have done so many great things that if we listed them all this website would run out of room!!!!!!Oh TD don't forget about the Cold War.

I apologize for not bloodying my sword in this debate; frankly, I didn't know it existed until a few minutes ago. But in light of TD's valiant effort against those who would oppose good 'ole conservativism (might as well be common sense!), I don't feel so bad for not having posted here.
But, I can't help myself, so I'll enter into the ring!
First, you liberals say that we should invade everyone that has WMD's if we're so intent on doing it. That is nonsense. We invaded Iraq for yes, the WMD's, but also for humanitarian and simple common sense reasons. An Iraq with WMD's (he had them; thousands of dead Kurds and Iranians will attest to that) posed a threat to both Israel and America. He had to have been on bin-Laden's good side; they're both Islamic radicals and both hate anything that doesn't bow before their belief.
My main point, which was obscure, is that Iraq was guilty of everything that it was advertised to be, but it was still a feasible enemy because it was small enough to be beaten. Russia, on the other hand, would initiate a nuclear holocaust if we went against them. Russia does have TONS of nukes, and they'd be landing on our soil if we attacked.
So, we cope with, but do not ignore, Russia because it is a formidable enemy. Indeed, it would be beneficial to have a free and friendly Russia, but we can't do it through force. Iraq, however, was targeted simply because they could be made free. We didn't sacrifice millions of Americans to acheive that end; if we invaded Russia, you betcha that'd happen.
I have tried to make my point clear, but you have to look at it WITHOUT bias, which liberals seem to flaunt around daily.

Personally I don't think that Russia is as dangerous as it once was during the 70'sThank God though that they arwen't communism any more hopefully the people will over throw any more government officials who want communism.

Mike's family is not well off, they're just middle class, BTW.
That's the things with libs, they say they want tax cuts during the campaigns (because it sounds good) but then, when push comes to shove, their spongey backbones collapse.
